wondering if anybody had tried the creek that feeds joe pool and runs under 661? been up here in okie land goin to school and ill be comin back to town for thanksgiving. i have caught alot of fish out of that creek in december but wondering if the crappie are in there yet. any info is much appreciated.

last year fishin was so good there! I have never caught a limit of 12-13in slabs in my life except there but they're not there yet

Getting close, I go by there every day on way home from work.IMHO last year was slow compared to previous years.....It wont be long...be nice to get some cooler weather

what part of joe pool? I launch a loyd park and the only hwy that i am familiar with is 360.

what part of joe pool? I launch a loyd park and the only hwy that i am familiar with is 360. It's on the southern end of the mountain creek arm.

I launch a loyd park and the only hwy that i am familiar with is 360. goto google plug in the search engine google earth download (it's free) after downloading find joe pool goto the southern end of the lake like anthony said and you will see fm 661. do you know what is the name of hwy 661? I have tried google and everything else I can think of but I cant find hwy 661.
Thanks Marc I found it on google earth but I cant find FM661 anywhere. I see where the creek dumps into joe pool, but I am trying to find out where 661 is. Does it have an actual name or is it just 661?

i give up. i tried gifco rd and it comes up in midlothian. mountain creek shows up on the north end of joe pool.

Google Britton Tx. 661 goes south out of Britton to Hwy. 287
I would agree with you , but then we would both be WRONG !!!!!
