Trout stocking starts at PK on Dec 9. Unfortunately, this doesn't coenside with my Thanksgiving plans. I'll be out that way this weekend. Any suggestions on bass or striper flyfishing below the PK dam?

Striper fishing below the dam will improve after the trout are stocked. Just tie some deceivers that look like those pathetic looking pale factory trout that they release. The stripers there think of them as candy.

Have fun with this stuff.

Anyone have a report on trout fishing at the PK tailraces? I was planning to head out there for the first time this weekend - any suggestions? Thanks in advance for the help!

Dont let these guys fool you - They are probably just trying to discourage people from crowding up their favorite hole!
These trout might not be as smart as trout that live in a river all year but they taste great and are still fun to catch!

Small wooly buggers (#10 or #12) have always worked best for me - I have not been this year though?
