This is just a lesson to the young angler Bassin Boy...you posted your pics but took shots at guys and how they hold there fish. What was wrong with just posting your fish? In the sport of bass fishing always remember one thing...be humble even when you win...the moment you get cocky is the moment that you get your tail spanked by the guy you were cocky to. Just something to think about...and you won a junior tourney with 8.21...so now you can take shots at guys? This is what I was doing at your age and I didnt fish against juniors...I fished against the big boys...and WON! But I was always humble.   Take it for what it is worth but in the future let guys worry about how they hold there fish and worry about holding yours...you just better hope that if I am ever in a tourney line behind you that they are alot bigger than that. Humble?!?! I don't even know you but from your post you sound far from humble. Did you not read where he just said he fished this lake for the first time? Great for you that you can catch fish with the "big boys". From the looks of the pics you fished those lakes more than once, and not to mention you are from DFW so I am sure you fished them all the time. I hope this kid gets the opportunity to fish against you and the "big boys" and beats your arse. Give the kid some credit and quit acting like a TOOL.

.....Dillard, maybe now you'll understand why everyone suddenly starts talking on their cell phones whenever you walk up. I think we've all now seen what "cocky" looks like....and that's why you're not a pro and never will be. You may fish 'professionally' but you will NEVER be a 'professional' in the true sense of the word.
Now then......Let's get this thread back to what it was originally for....BassinBoy.....good job my friend!!! You look like you had fun and in the eyes of someone that is here to encourage the junior anglers...your comments were in no way seen as "taking a shot" at someone or being "cocky". Congrats BassinBoy, always hard to produce fish when hitting a body of water for the first time let alone during a tournament!

There is nothing wrong with 8.21lb string on the Vine. That weight has won many a tourney out there. Yes, sometimes it takes quite a bit more but Bassinboy deserves to relish in his victory, congrats!
Regarding B Dillard.....you need to "B somewhere else". I think most folks on here have already figured you out and we don't like your ways or mouth. I hope everybody on this forum has an opportunity to beat your arse on the water, and if not, it will more than likely get done on land!

I am very sorry if I offended you in anyway. I was not at all trying to be disrepectful, and maybe it came across the wrong way. Nobody in my family fished before me, and I have never been to this lake before. I am proud of what I did, but I am in no way trying to be cocky or arrogant. I am sorry if it was taken this way. You did catch more than me this past Sunday. Congrats on your second place finish!
