Haha... I hear ya man! I threw back 4 or 5 in the slot and they were the same length as the ones you are talking about. I probably would have had close to 15 or 16 pounds if it was a 14 inch minimum. Had never been to the Vine before yesterday, but it is a decent little lake.

I ended up with 8.21

How low is Grapevine? Those pics look like it has been years since it has seen rain. I guess its be 12 years since I have been on that lake, and back then it was not a very good fihery. Looks like the slot has helped.

On the Army Corps of Engineer's website it says the "Vine" is 7 foot low.
