Have not been on here in a while. What is the difference between the two and what is better to use? Should I use on every tank?

Sta-bil has only one purpose. Look at what Sea Foam does.
The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything. Remember what He has done and remember that He is not done yet!-- GOD IS GOOD

I would use sta bil in the fall/winter when you wont be using the boat a bunch so that you keep the fuel from losing too much octane.
Seafoam is meant to clean your carbs/injectors and such within the motor. I would use once a year as I can fowl our your spark plugs if used more often. I LOVE the stuff... It goes into all my toys, I use BG 44K for my auto's which is more expensive, but another "tune up in a bottle"
Hope this helps!

i use seafoam in every other tank all yr. long. and i would only use the RED stabil when i'm storing for more than a month. the green stabil is used with ethanol fuel to keep the fuels blended and keep the system clean of the white build up with ethanol fuel, and keeps the fuel from deteriating the lines, etc.
Thats just my opinion, and has been working for me with my engines, and i've never had a plug failure or fuel problem with any of my engines when using the additives. other opinions may and will vary..

I've used sea foam when the motor is running rough and had great success, the green sta-bil is new to me and have only used the red during periods of low use. I have also herd you should keep your gas tank it least 2/3 full to cut down on condensation build up, it that true or false?

I put Seafoam in the truck and Sta-bil in the boat. I have never used Seafoam in the boat. The boat may sit idle for weeks at a time is the only reason I haven't put Seafoam in it.

1 of 2 miracle products on the market that actually work. Seafoam and Marvel mystery oil.
Some folks mouths, flat out runs their minds.

not sure if this made the difference, but i used Seafoam for the first time last saturday and --- unlike the past two trips to the lake --- the motor fired right up with every turn of the key the first time. i put fresh mid-grade gas (also a first), mixed in the proper amount of Seafoam, and idled the motor for approximately 20 minutes before going to the lake. i think i like Seafoam.
