some are 4 to 8 inches long and the ones twd releases are between 2 and 5 1/2 lbs 2- 5 1/2 lbs! jeez, i seem to catch the 6-8in ones.

Yeah, look at the TP&W site and see what hatchery supplied the fish. PK tend to have the bigger ones. One year they put browns in the Trinity. Though, look at the Trinity River Auth. web site. They too stock trout and TP&W web site won't have it on their schedule.
Wish you all the best. Can't do much fishing lately with my three back surgeries. Hope to be out there next year.

arn't you gonna mention where u got that tip on the worm with the white power ball lol. a little asian lady! and i starting using it too. yep i luv trout fishing see you guys out there. the tpwd will have their stockings listed soon. getcha some That's correct BFC- The little asian lady and her husband not only clued me in, they gave me some of the bait and their spot once they limited out. I was doing OK with my Krilla, but the trout went Nucking Futs over the pink worm with the white ball! Can't wait... Just have to work on my fillet technique - haven't done it since march... Brent

Question, what is krilla and white power balls. trout baits. like crappie nibbles or gulp! or powerbait but aimed at trout, mainly farm grown.
