I haven't had my boat out in about 4 months because my wife and I had a baby about 2 months ago. I noticed that mold or mildew has been growing on a few places on the carpet, and when I checked a few days ago, the spots had grow to about the size of dinner plates!

Why would this just now happen on a boat that is 10 years old? Its never happened before.

More importantly, what is the easiest way to clean it up?

Before you start worrying about how to clean the mold, You need to find out why you have mold in the first place. Are you trapping water somewhere in the hull? The boat that is pictured on your logo is a fish and ski, It is highly probable that water entered under the rear passeger seat bases and is now trapped. Water=Mold=Oh Buggers!
