I'm excited about my new bait tank that is on it's way. Should get it next week. It's a 30 gallon oval Greyline. This is what I've been waiting for to keep my shad alive for those times when lures aren't the thing and also I plan to get into some yellow cats. It will fit nicely in front of the center console.

Congrats on the new Grayline...those are awesome tanks. That 30 will be perfect for a day of fishing!!!

I have a Grayline 50 gallon and a Sunshine 43 gallon that we use when we camp and fish the weekend at Texoma. Actually, a couple TFFers are using my Grayline 50 right now and they really like it...I better get it back smile smile

Don't laugh Anton...but that 50 gallon tank would work on your boat -- I moved the pump from the top of the tank to the bottom and can run anywhere from 10-50 gallons of water in it with this set up smile smile

I had it on the front of my boat and 50 gallons is a lot of water!!!! I got it because we tend to get bait once and keep it for 3-4 days...works great!!!

Bryan -- My Sunshine 43 has served me well for 3 years fishing tourneys and holding bait of 2-3 days for long weekend trips. I got the Grayline 50 to do the samething, but we leave it in the back of the truck to haul bait...some lakes you have to bring your own bait.

I like the Grayline the best -- that sucker is huge!!!...but it is kind of hard to catch the last few shad it is so big. The filter systems on both work good and they both have the Keep Alive pumps.

If I were getting bait and using it that day I would get a Grayline 30 gallon. Drive up to Texoma, see the tanks, talk to George who builds them and get great customer support with any questions.

One thing about George he'll make things right. He has a good product and stands behind them.

Any recommendations for a bait tank on a bass boat for the occasional trip for stripers
