Here's a couple pics for the crazy lovers, I figure not too many more guys will look at this thread so I can back up a claim or two I made!!!!

The Poncho ran a REAL 455 under the hood and went 9.98 on the motor before we had to give up to the turbo cars! Only had a two stage plate system BUT on the street it was DEADLY! That leave is a FOOTBRAKE leave on the motor and I grabbed the hose as soon as it settled. That was 1/8th mile in July and I think it went 5.90ish @ 117. Hotter n heck that day in the Houston area!

And the wife is getting hotter by the day!

Hate to burst someone's bubble, but a Merc Powered Stroker was clocked at over 100 by Bass and Walleye Boats Magazine, a few years ago.

Thought this one would have faded by now. Just hard to believe a Triton is that fast!

We gotta start a thread with our Texas Fastest Bass Boat List. Allisons, Bullets and Strokers on MY! With perhaps a Triton or two sticking its nose in!

Huck, you're too honest. If you post elsewhere and especially BBC add 9mph! Honesty is less appreciated on the national level!

Hey Kingwood, I own that Stroker that you speak of! In the article it had no TM or batteries and the 280 was running an ECU that let it REALLY spin to the moon! But with TM, batteries and an 8250 OS ECU it ran 101mph this March. But then I got the bug for more HP and it now has a 250 Yamaha pushing it.

Stroke- Funny you say that about Tritons & Champions. I was thinking the other day that of all the boats I have ever seen two of them that I remember most were Champions. Bought of em I saw while fishing Bass N Bucks. They brought a Blue/Yellow/White 210 to the Championship two years ago and it may have been the best looking boat I have ever seen! And some guy fished out of a white & purple 203. Good looking boats.

I don't know how accurate a speedometer in a boat is but my TR20 [ now 9 years old] did 74 with a 200 Yamaha and a 240 lb guy in the boat with me when it was new. That was fast enough. Don't know what it could have done if I pushed it while empty.I don't ever go that fast anymore....too scary.

Been kinda tryin with Steve & Kena to get something together with a few boats. All welcome but would like to draw the other Strokers as well. Too bad we can't get Stallings out of Nacogdoches he has a wicked fast 3.1 Hydro-Tec motor and runs way past 100, but I spoke with him last week and he said he has been to busy to play with the outboard. I know Wayne Kralik with the 07 Stroker wants to try a prop or two!
If the weather holds up in dec maybe the 2nd weekend would work @ Hubbard or somewhere. Sure wish we could run the Brazos!
