I fished it for a few hours last Sunday. Was out looking for hybrids. Not much to write about.

Started out in front of lake park at 1st light. Marked lots of bait fish and lots of birds flying around out from the dam in deeper water. Fish were scattered and suspended. Headed back to lake park fished the main lake point there for a little. Looked at pockarus hump with several passes and didn't see anything that made me want to stop. I could have gone out to the pits but I just combed the hickory arm looking for hungry fish. Found one small hybrid close to the bridge. After that I could never get back on top of them. I think that I may have scared them off with my motor because I was in 28ft water.

One of those days that I was looking more than trying. Wind direction had changed. It was blowing straight out of the east. Never fished that lake when the wind was out of the east. There is still alot of bait fish to compete with right now. Might be a better bite in the deeper water rather than the shallower humps & points.

The magnum whites were on top of the gravel pit humps yesterday in 20 feet of water. Do not know where the hybrids dissapeared to in the lake.

charger boat man,
Search gravel pits at the top of this page. The waypoints have been posted many times in the past.

TJ,
It seems the hybrids are always on the move. They never stay on one spot very long. My boat just has not crossed paths with them lately.
