What happens to recycled fishing line!?

That is the question that I was wondering  . I have been recycling my line at Academy for as long as I can remember. I believed that it went into making new line or plastic bottles. After I did a little research this is what I found. Berkley seems to be the head of it all, in most states. What great brand  , I have been using there line and power worms for quite some time. nice. now if we could find something to do with all the old trotlines at canyon lake!! There and all of the other lakes.

Still Waters Bass Club assisted Parks and Wildlife Biologists place about 90 of these in Lake Kirby near Abilene a couple of months ago. They are pretty cool. They snap together and use a sand bag to sink them.

Well it usually gets wrapped around my prop and wears out a seal...$350 repair. Twice this year!!! And I check the prop. Guess I'm gonna have to quit fishing shallow or check the prop every trip!
