slow down your presentation and go to a soft plastic in a darker color. they cant see the flash as well in cloudy conditions so work something that makes a darker shadow and give them more time to see it. or it could have been that a front was associated to your cloud cover that shut them down...

A dark topwater can fix that.

Skitterwalk or Spook, also, a chug bug works well but remember to change the hooks to saltwater friendly after a few uses.

Like TX said fish slower and if nothing else is workin move to a Strke King Redfish Magic with a larger colorado blade. Bounce that up and down off the bottom on short crisp retrieves and you will def. get a bite.

Wooo!

I agree with surf,

A cloudy day can be your friend. With the intense sunlight not beaming down in the water redfish will range a little more and not hold so close to the cover. Get out a dark top water. it will shilloette against the cloudy sky.lots of noise so they can hear it..your bite should improve.

How about on sunny days when the water is murky or on cloudy days when the water is murky what are good lures and colors to use.

Dark colors on cloudy days and murky water days.
