At calaveras the wall you see all those people at are catching fish. I pulled in their not wanting to, but the guy I was with wanted to. It was not windy glass water so I pulled in on the left side caught about 10 cats and 5 under 20 in. reds in about 45 minutes. Caught on shad. Good day.

Awesome! Sounds like the cats are into their thing with the shad? I take it the shad are easy to catch there? Did you catch Channel or blues? I'm calling in sick tomorrow! LOL.

I caught all channels probably 50 in all if they are not 16 I don't keep them. The funny thing was I caught my shad right by the boat and put them on the hook with a float -chunked it out and boom gone. Love that kinda of fishing makes you feel like a kid again. Off the wall I was on the bottom on the left side facing in. good luck

I caught my reds all day ,however the bite was on between 9-11 then most of the time cats. This was down towards the rails on right side 200 yds from wall in 4ft of water casting to the deeper end. shallow end brought cats.
