Saw a gator on the news tonight that was caught at Lavon.
Anyone ever seen one there?
I have seen a couple at Fork.
Heard of ones at Hubbard and Tawakoni.
Had a friend catch one at Cado on a spinner bait in July.
I guess they are slowly making a come back.

What news was it on? I did a quick search and didn't find it.

I saw one about 4' long 9 or 10 years ago up past Mallard park underneath HWY 78 by the old road viaducts. I paddled up near the south side viaduct in my kayak and spooked it. It ran up onto the viaduct and jumped back into the water on the other side. I saw it from head to tail. I was pretty spooked myself when it busted out of the water. Pretty amazing. GOFISH

I seen one by the railroad bridge going into Mallard park last winter. All I seen was the head , and it looked to be a good sized gator.

Dang, I used to swim there a lot.

Lake fork last spring...

i spend alot of time wade fishing Lavon in the spring. i recon moscon wads ain't the only thing i need to keep an eye out for.

there's gators in most if not all lakes in north texas. most go unseen.

I recon this spring i'll slide the 9mm down right next to the snakebite kit i carry in my waders.
