Hey guys, I'm brand new to the DFW area and someone told me about a crappie house on Joe Pool that you can fish for like $2 or $3...is it worth going to?

Ive heard of people doing good at the joe pool marina one during the winter, the lynn creek one is horrible now. I was at the joe pool marina one about 3 weeks ago caught 7 throwbacks no keepers, maybe some of the bigger fish have moved in now with the colder weather. I was using a white jig. Good luck!

Where's Joe Pool Marina? Is it the one in the State Park? Do you have any ideal what it costs to get in and fish?

Is there another crappie house in the Central to Western part of DFW that is better? I would probably say from Joe Pool, Grapevine, Eagle Mountain, Lake Worth or Benbrook.

I'm just looking for something to do a little bank fishing, thanks in advance!!!

The crappie houses are usually the best during the winter/ colder months of the year.
