Bill and Connie, I am really pleased that you guys came on this thread and offered your comments. Please keep us up to date on Sherry's condition. Those of us, whose lives she has touched, are very interested in her condition and pray for a miracle. Bill, this has got to be tough on you especially. We have special prayers for you too, there was nothing in Sherry's life and activity that she didn't acknowledge your backing and support. It seems that every story told about Sherry, includes your name in there as well. God Bless you, Bill. thumb

Thank you for all the kind words and prayers for my Mom. It's been a joy to read all your memories about her. I know if she was able, she would enjoy reading them, too. She is a special lady; always has been. She sure went fast in her boat, didn't she? smile
I'm sure I've met some of you from time to time when I've been out visiting. Bill, Shelly, Warren, and I all appreciate your kindness.

Thanks to you all for your continued prayers and uplifting support to our family during a very tragic time. Our mother is a strong, vibrant woman who took the world on and never looked back. Her life is being sapped from her in a way no human deserves. We thank you so much for your prayers and willingness to help. We have set up a memorial fund for Mom to help Bill with all the piling up medical bills. We will keep you posted on her condition via her blog. When the time comes you'll all be invited to the service. Time and info on the blog. Until that day, be blessed and may all your days be on calm waters. http://www.sherryruslink.com

Shelly - Sherry's oldest daughter.

It hurts so badly to read of the pain and suffering Sherry went through in her final days. I'm glad she's found peace and pray for her family. May God bless and comfort you all.

My Sincere condolences to Bill and the rest of the Family.

I first met Sherry & Bill in 1998, and you would be hard pressed to find much better people in my opinion...

Shelly, thanks for the updates, I have been following, and my prayers go out to you as well. I know it had to have been so difficult to endure this, and I commend you for being there.

My Families Prayers go out to You Family's, and know, that Sherry is no longer suffering, and is in a much better place..

I/We will always remember her, and the impact she made on so many of our lives, especially when it comes to the Internet "Rallies" and friends...

Sincerely
Paul Sonnier

I found these pictures on some old BFHP pages. It's from the 2000 Rally which was held at Cooper Lake. Sherry was one of the volunteers on the planning committee. You can find them by googling "BFHP Rally 2000". You'd be amazed at the size of some of the fish caught and all the trees in Cooper Lake.

Here's another of her.

Paul,

This look familiar?

Here she is with Kit Lueg (Rally Logo designer) discussing a day on the water.
