Can anyone help me out in the Housen Bay/Six Mile area? I grew up fishing this area(had a RV on Sandy Creek) but haven't been in six years after moving down to the RGV. Will be making my first trip back this Tuesday Oct. 7th. Going with a friend who has never been before and would like to get on some fish. Just wondering what the patterns are like and water levels after Hurricane Ike. If you don't want to post here, please PM me. Any info would be greatly appreciated

Also, did Fin and Feather ever get remodled? I had heard it was bought and sold several times since I was there but no sure if it was fixed up. Thinking of staying there. Once again, Thank You!

fin and feather remodeled,go find the hydrilla grass edge from the bank out to about 10ft.throw a wacky worm,t-rig,keep a topwater tied on for schoolies.wat/red and green pumpkin plastics.clear tiny torpedo and blue/chrome pop-r.

thanks Ryan, appreciate it. Sounds like the same as always. Thats my kind of fishing and I can't wait to get back. Seems like Tuesday is forever away. How are the water levels after Ike? Is it imperative that you only run in the boat lanes at this time?

Fished there today and it was really tough. Took only 18 lbs to win. housen has plenty of grass and will only get better if it cools off.
