 bass i caught while scouting for teal last week...

i decided to take a pole rigged with a suspension rapala with me a couple of weeks ago while i looked for duck action. im glad i did, i think this is the biggest bass ive ever caught.

 WOW, thats a chunk. I guess I need to start scouting for something. Did you get a weight? I'd guess around 6-7.

im 6 foot 4 265 pounds, to give you a size comparison. i gave it the gallon of milk scale. if a gallon of milk weighs 12 pounds, that bass was every bit of 10 pounds.

you sure about that? ive caught an 8 pound bass that i weighed before. this one was definately bigger. i need to get a scale. i dont usually get concerned with how much they weigh, but since this was caught in a private lake, i guess it would be cool to know exactly how big they are.

I caught one that was 8 even in June, much longer than yours,
not nearly as fat!
