I know they have to eat but are do you fish them the same as the summer?

The first t.v. show I saw on them was in the winter and they were slabbing them up at the Dam at Lake Coleman in the 40 plus feet water and talking about it being the best time of year. I will be finding out.

John, i actually catch more hybrids during the winter. I may just be getting lucky. The sizes arent as large as the ones i catch in the spring. Benbrook is real good in jan-feb. Ive had the best days on Benbrook in jan-feb

Cool. Pun intended. laugh I've had the most fun catching the hybrids over any other fish this year.

They want less movement and the bite is much more subtle but fishing is still good---or.... go to a power plant lake like Graham and it is easy pickings from what I have heard.

My best Hybrid day on C.C. was this past Christmas day! We ate a big ole lunch and went & caught some big ole Hybrids!

yep, generally CC can be pretty good on Hybrids all through winter. Like Jason said, follow the birds on the lower half of the lake.

best "pure" hybrid action I have ever seen was in the winter, bird action and all, on CC! It was easy to tell they were hybrids, they left the surface full of dead or dying shad, and the gulls did their cleanup act.

They were all big fish too!

Contrary to what the last 3 posters have mentioned there is absolutely no hybrid bite on Cedar Creek after Labor Day, you would save a lot of gas and time if you would just fish somewhere else.
Move along folks nothing to see here. woot

It ain't easy making it look easy.
