George, those flies are absolutely stunning. Some I really liked, and will try to make. Thanks for sharing that with us!!

George
I'm diggin' those flies! Loved them when I first saw them on Bill Cashin's website before I ever knew who originated them.
Hope you get in some fine fishing soon.

I like the stripes in pic 18. I'll have to take a marker to some of the blondes I tied yesterday.

It looks like someone has been very busy at the vice. Quite a few good hours invested in those babies.

George: You might want to wander over to Dan Blanton.com and check out the new t-shirt for Striperfest 2008 and note the hook on the fly in the mouth of that nice Striper. Dave Sellers did a great job on this one as usual.
Thanks for the link of some beautiful flies.

Thanks Dale, I noticed the jig hook - neat.. Check out Daves notebook paintings most of his fish paintings, with illustrated flies are tied on jig hooks hes quite an artist we exchange ideas on fly patterns. Notebook Paintings http://www.davesellers.com/I also saw his post about your flies that Dave caught the bull brim.. nice work... George http://www.danblanton.com/viewmessage.php?id=111276"A surprise gift....... [Bulletin Board] Posted by Dave Sellers on 2008-10-03 16:43:05 I just received a surprise gift. A box of flies tied by Dale Wilkinson of Texas. His e-mail address says it all: Brimbum@aol.com. Still trying to piece together who was responsible for this gift. Regardless, it's a thing of beauty as is any fly box packed with flies in tidy rows. These have so much color and are so deadly that I can honestly say a box of precious gems would not be as pretty to me. I'll use them soon and often. Here is a photo of a similar fly box with flies tied by Dale. I took this last spring. The fly box belongs to Rick Pope.I love surprises!Dave

Wow Dale. That box of flies looks like a box of candy. Bream candy for sure.

George, I finally got around to making a couple of Schminnows with the 60 deg bend hook. It was on my to do list, but I had to find the right material. I made one in silver, then one in pearl. Thanks again for posting such a great looking fly.
