Hang in there and keep on fishing. Just this past weekend my wife and I watched the sun come up while we were on the lake. That does not happen staying at home and asleep in bed. My wife and I always, repeat always fish together, I dread the day that one of us is without the other to go fishing. I am sure it won't be much fun then. We have so many memories of the lakes, the fish, the bugs, the waves over the bow when your trying to keep the trolling motor in the water, the snakes & gators, etc. it has all definitely been quality time. Fishing is a great sport, great for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors, it is a shame that everyone does not do it. Of course the boat ramps would be worse than they are now...

Hey there SuperWoman,
My wife is a scrapbook fanatic. She goes to crops several times a month and hosts 2 retreats per year at Lake Fork Lodge! Generally has around 12-13 other ladies going along. She even sells the stuff if you need anything. Works great for me. She stays there and crops while I stay down the road and fish, hopefully getting more photos and stories for her scrapbooks! Anyway, she has some great scrapbooks of the family and stuff and also dedicated a couple to some of my fishing exploits. Let me know if you're interested in hooking up with her and her friends. She's always looking for new people to share scrapbooking with. Oh, by the way, we live in the Bedford area (Mid-Cities).

SuperWoman Welcome to the best fishing site anywhere ! My wife likes to fish as much as I do and has even came in here a few times but would rather fish than talk about fishing ! TFF has it's own pictures site at http://groups.msn.com/TFFShareAlbum for you to post your own there ! David C.
4 out of 5 voices in my head say call in sick and go fishing !

Fishing nut - sounds like you have a relationship made in Heavan. Great for you and her!
Scott01- I would love to hook up with her. Funds aren't there to purchase anything but I am constantly looking for new ideas and what not. The latest scrapbook has had a lot of fishing pages! I don't make it out to Lake Fork too often, but if I do I would love to know where they go! You can send her my email - sylvia_Childers@hotmail.com.
MrClyde - Thank you SOOOO much for the link to the picture part. I have a TON that I would love to post out there! Make sure you check it soon as I imagine I will have some out there!!

SuperWoman I am all in favor of you being interested in his hobbies. I had a girlfriend (past)that liked it too. But she would get upset that there where times that I wanted to fish with my son's or father too. And I don't like to have more than 3 on the boat, sometimes 3 is too many. But you should keep the interest for yourself. Who knows you may be able to hook up with another fisherman (woman) to fish with. If it's just for being on this site that he objects to then I'd say there is a problem that this site may not be able to help you with...maybe they have a forum for Doc. Phil. Anyway good luck and happy fishing.
