went out night before last and and hooked this lil kitty on a shrimp. hook scale read almost 3.5 lbs. headed out tonight to get its daddy!! had a few others but this was the only one above a couple pounds.

LOL its a different sink out in the laundry room. only one im allowed to use as long as the fish dont get any bigger than this one. any bigger ones and usually clean em up on the dock and just be done with it. chum bucket lol

I see skinning pliers and an old trusted knife. Old school! I prefer the electric fillet knife but to each his own. Good Fish by the way.

That's a tough one. If the color in the picture is true, that greenish tint and dark discolorations on the body tell me it's a channel. The only real check is to count the anal fins, per the ID chart here: http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/publications/pwdpubs/catfish_diagrams.phtml
