Took my dad out for about 3hrs Mon. eve hoping to put about 40 or so in the cooler, but only ended up with 16. Dohh!! What the he11?? Last time I fished 1.5hrs and put 19 in the cooler. Also fished 1.5hrs this eve and only 5 keepers, several little ones. I thought the keeper ratio would be better this time of year, maybe next time. Monday's fish, nothing to brag about, but a Pic with a report is always better....

Jody, not a bad haul. Least you are getting on the lake. Hopefully I'll get the chance to go out Sunday and Monday.

Keep on fishing.

I'll either be on Granger or maybe Belton next weekend, so I may see ya out there. Be careful in the mainlake, it's pretty dam'n low! I'm still trying to figure this out, if the crappie aren't on ur b-piles on one end of the lake, are they all stacked on piles on the other side of the lake or just scattered amongst a a$$ load of piles?? Didn't have enough daylight to check all corners this eve!!

Fish are still scattered among the 1000's of b-piles and plastic condos. They will start congregating once the water cools a bit. It would help also if we could get some rain and bring the lake level up 3-4 feet. If this drought keeps up we won't be able to launch.

Keep on fishing.

Speaking of being low. I went over to the Willis standing timber side and found the big pecan tree we use to catch loads of crappie on. We use to catch loads of crappie on this tree back in the late '80's!! Haven't seen it for probably 10 to 12 yrs since most of the limbs broke off! Although that sounds good, I tried it and didn't get a bite! Dohh....... But do have it on the GPS now!

It's only gonna get worse unless they fill G-town to max. Take a look @ the COE website for Granger. You'll find the survey for the new water treatment plant that is going to be built within the next 3 years @ Granger.

I really do hope they raise the normal level of the lake to about 506-508. It would add so much more area to the lake. We need the rain bad! I hope none of my condos are out of water! Jody where was the condo you saw sticking out? I think I know of one I put out that might be close right now. Hopefully I will get on the lake this weekend.

Cville,

Have you tried fishing brush in 6ft or less?

Charlie

May you have a blessed day.

Three weeks ago they were holding really well at 4-6 ft. Course I didn't discover that until the last day of the trip blush

May you have a blessed day.
