Taking the family out camping mid October on Fayette. Usually bass fish but would like to put my daughter and wife on some catfish. Any help would be appreciated.

I have not been out there in a while but we used to do pretty good on bass and cats off the fishing pier, mainly at night, on water dogs from the bait house, on live ones under floats for bass and then once dead fished them on the bottom. i causght an 8 lb channel to the right side of the pier, hope that helps a little, adn good luck.
