I recently purchased a set of Frogg Toggs and am happy to report they worked well. I wore them while fishing during the Ike rain storm. The only part the leaked through was the openings of the pockets in the pants (I got pants not bibs...darn!). I dont think they will be warm enough for fall/winter rains, though. Any thoughts or successes to share?

Cooler weather, I wear Cabela's Guide Wear. Warmer weather I wear a Nike Golf Rainwear. Looking at some Cabela's lite weight stuff. I had a pair of Frogg Toggs a little older versions and didn't really like them.

Cabelas Guide wear unless it is hot then Frogg Togs. Had one set of cuide wear for 10 years and never a leak, I finally replaced it last year because my wife just couldnt take the smell any more

I'm there with the Military Surplus GorTex Gear, just wish I could get them in bibs. But man that stuff is tough. I then have ProRainer for winter gear.
GuideWear is going to be my next set of winter I think though.

I've used Frogg Toggs from Texas to Alaska and they're my all around favorite because of the light weight and freedom of movement. If it's really cold, I'll use a suit of Cabela's Goretex I've had for about a dozen years.

Cabelas GuideWear, BPS 100mph, North Face, Helly-Hansen, all make top-notch rain wear. But if you want the Cadillac rain gear guys who race offshore wear, check out- Henri-Lloyd
