My neighbor has 17, five-gallon paint buckets full of gas in his garage.

Drove my wife's Honda Civic from SA to College Station and back Thursday. Normal traffic on FM 21 and I-35 atlest in the AM. Paid 2.90 a gallon in CS and things were starting to get crazy there. Got 38.5 MPG, but still wasn't happy paying 2.90. Looks like I am going to driving that Honda a lot.

Good luck finding gas to fill up with. I had to stop at 3 places in Grapevine before I was able to find a station that wasnt empty.

I filled up at Costco two days ago for $250.9/gal.
It may have gone up by now. I'm thinking about purchasing some jerry cans, but those are probably all gone by now. Heard on the news last night that stations all over Tx are running out of gas. Can't wait til the nation goes completely solar & wind and gets off of fossil fuels; although the nuclear generating plants may need to stay on line, but in a low mode, in case we have a world-wide cloud cover for days or weeks on end due to some huge natural (or man-made) disaster.

One positive story out of this thing - the HEB in Burnet ran out of regular yesterday, then sold plus and super at the regular price until that was all gone. Kudos to HEB for helping as much as they could to make a bad situation better.
