That would polly knock a Bfer right off his elevated platform ROLMFAO
Probably would not be the smartest thing to do. Remember, we have BOWS in our hand and most also carry. If someone was to start shooting at me, let's just say it would not end very well. Besides, why would you want to hurt someone over a stupid difference of opinion??

I love spud cannon a lot and I am certain that after a few beers that shoot corn across the lake would be an absolute riot but I have to wonder of just using a wrist rocket might not be a better way to go.
On a side note...why is it proper to talk about 3 cannon without adding the s but if you drink 3 beers you have to add the s? I would rather be able to say I shoot two deer each year and have also consumed 4 beer as well. Haven't you noticed that the English language is not exactly self-consistent? When my kids were learning to talk, and later to read and write, I felt like I should apologize to them because they had to cope with such an inconsistent grammar and spelling system.

I bet you could get a medium sized piece of PVC pipe and cap it? Maybe make a 360 degree swiveling turret? The PVC might melt though? Maybe it would be better to use like Aluminum pipe and make a mortar gun style configuration?

I was speaking in jest...however, if you where close enough to get tangled in lines your too close! didn't some Bfing goober go right through a fish-in at emma a couple years a go? besides I am sure being a lit up target in the middle of a lake is far easier to hit than anglers hid in the dark along the shore raining down stink from above from a tater cannon would be hard to say WHO the individual would be, what would you do? shoot all the anglers along that shore? I would say manners would compel you to fish out of sight from a fish in...unless you were making a statement, which firing a non- lethal tater cannon would also make a statement

And you guys always say you would NEVER use your bows as a weapon. Not exactly sure who you are referring to by "you guys" but if someone was shooting at me and I was fearing for my life, I would certainly shoot my bow at them in self defense.

MoCarp,
I did not see it as in jest but now that you say that, I am sorry I even said anything. The big thing is we all have to respect each other. If someone intentionally come through your fish in, then they deserve to be covered in spud cannon stink!
That said, it is pretty easy to accidentally get close. I have been out running the shoreline and come around a corner to find myself facing lines out by catfishermen. I IMMEDIATELY turned out and got out of their way. I also apologized profusely. Sometimes it happens. Those who run into your fish in or even advocate it are just plain old jerks that do not deserve to be on the water and should be prosecuted for sportsmen harassment. I personally would turn them in myself.

a while back on country fried home videos a guy made a cannon and was shooting beer out of it lol so it can be done.....as for the paitball gun it might work if the boilies dont explode on exit. a cheap gun that uses c02 cartraiges might be better.

For boilies, why not try a blow gun? I don't know the size of boilies but if you can get a pice of PVC that is pretty close and they are not too heavy, that would work perfect. I used to make my own blowguns with 3/4" pvc and would shoot all kinds of things from it.
