moving try with live bait or cut waterdog (fresh) so it's able to move cut a slit in it and put a chunk of alcacellsor in the slit and sew it up a little bit but leave a small opening 4 water to get inside so it'll bubble and make the live bait go crazy and the cut bait look a bit more natural


let me know how it works because i've only done this with WATERDOGS going for big spawning bass, and figured that if it works 4 bass why not cats

How would you sew it up?

I like to dress my live bait up in little clown suits just to rub it in a little more.

Even if you are serious about that....its just waaaaay too much work. I don't even consider the thread and chicken liver combo everyone talks about because its too much work...let alone performing the surgical procedure you are explaining.

Clown suites tend to scare off fish. Something like this would work better.




On a more serious note it sounds like a lot of work and fairly sadistic to me too.

If you really want to be sadistic, try the alka seltzer trick with a real clown!

You've heard of a Turducken, right? I propose:

1. Take a minnow, stuff a nightcrawler in his mouth.
2. Take a large shad, and put the minnow in his mouth.
3. Put the whole thing into the hollowed out body of a small carp.
4. Take the assembled bait, wrapped in meat string of course, and bake at 350F for 15-20 minutes.
5. Remove from heat, garnish with ground chicken liver with garlic seasoning on top, and serve.
