Ray Bob sand bass have been schooling sporadically since the cool down in August. To catch keeper size just pretend it is October...we have been catching them in 30 to 40 on the spots we fish in the cooler months for the last 3 weeks.

I'm looking forward to the TASF event next month up there. Only been there once. Are you gonna be able to partake? I could definitely use some pointers on where to look. Thanks Michael

Bamaboy,
Slabbin with a Cotton Cordell 3/4 oz. CC Spoon chrome with a Flies-By-Night fly tied 14 inches above it is how we catch most of the fish. I won't be able to participate in the TASF event as I am already booked that day. Best area to fish is from Isle du Bois State Park to Wolf island on the east arm of the lake. Humps, points, roads, ridges and dropoffs in 30 to 40 is where to look.

I have a sneaky feeling that RRR may have a TASF boat show following him around that day...  I know I need a guide for that lake. A detailed description of your boat and a nice clear pic would be appreciated...
