if im fishing from boat come around a cove an be a bank beater then i always make a 90 degree turn away from them and go out then come back acros then back down.
unless there is a Hott blonde laying there on the blanket.
i came up on one last year kind spooked her she started to get up and get her towel and throw over her.
i asked her dont get up i will get the towel for her.
she turned around and said how you going to get my towel and your in the boat.
i asked again can i get your towel she said sure show me.
she didnt realize how good a zaraspook will hook and i will be in all honesty im not that good of a shot but i let it zing right past her and above her and that spook landed right on her towel. i like to have passed out but i kept my composure gave it a good tug and that towel came right off and and landed on the back of her chair.
but then i had to pull right up to her and use my pliers and unhook i aplogized for the hook marks in the towel she said no problem, and that she had never had anyone try and pick her up at the lake like that. i said im not trying to pick you up. she says so you dont want my number. i siad well i sure wont turn it down maybe later we meet at the marina and get something to eat or drink. she said sure. well that night i didnt get any night fishing done just another type of fishing
but that day i could not belive i made that 60 foot shot and that spook hit right dead center of the towel hanging off the tree branch
and i could not do that again if i tried
man i sure miss PK like they say here "without the pictures , not a good story " lol

Paintball gun will work.. especially if you freeze the paintballs first. That was gonna be my suggestion (just don't do it for a paintball tournament, don't ask me how I know). Especially for the guy in the boat telling the bankster to reel faster... Anyone know if civilians can purchase the Pepper Spray paint balls?

Pepper Spray paintballs? I will have to reach out to my LE contacts and see if I can acquire some. If so....... Now available to accompany you fishing in "contested" areas. I will post up in a nearby bush and ensure no peckerheads in boats interrupt your fishing.....you provide me with beer as payment

I have had my share of boaters. Though, even as one lady told my kids to get out of her way, I have to say it comes down to being courteous ( I posted this story some time ago). I too once owned a boat and stayed away from bank fisherman. Now that I don't have one, I too get upset if a Bass fisherman starts throwing to me. Yes, one can get out a big weight and throw it at them but what is the point. Arrogant people will never change, so I choose not to deal with them and ruin my fishing trip. Anyhow, if they get the line stuck in their prop, if not removed it will cause damage to the seal.

I've had my share of frustration from boater on Grapevine, some floating within spitting distance, literally. However, today there were 2 very nice boaters who went out of their way to retrieve a topwater lure that kept snapping my line just above the knot in mid-cast. I flagged them down, the shut down their engines to hear me, and graciously lent a helping hand. Sure, they were bass fisherman, and not the usual jetskiier/party boat/skii boats, but it was still very much appreciated.
Now if I could just find one who will offer to let me hop on and hit some of their deep water honey holes...

Yes... you are 100% correct.. for every 2 stories of a peckerhead boater.. there are 50 that are super nice. We have had boater folks get our snagged lures, we have had folks ask us where our lines are so they could avoid them.... we have had boaters ask us if they could fish near us (of course we said yes) .. we have even had boaters stop a mile away and slowly move in.. (or so it seemed). I guess the punks who drive over your line just bug you so much it unfairly diminishes the boaters who are exceptionally nice. You know... there has never been the case that when someone asked to fish near us that we have said no.. I guess we figure if they are nice enough to ask they are nice enough to fish with.

That guy needs an attitude adjustment in my personal opinion. That would just do it for me, I don't know how you kept any coolness with that arrogant wind blower. I go fishing for peace and quiet, not for a jerk to try and ruin it, and make me lose my cool. Rarely will I say anything to a boater, but this one takes the cake!

Had an issue at Cedar Hill State Park, with a family out boating who decided to unload their tow-behind and junk at the picnic table right next to where my roomie and I were fishing. There was another nice fella about 50 yards down the bank from us, and another couple about 75 yards on the other side of us.
Mrs Happypants sat there on the table with that huge innertube, while her hubby went to launch the boat.
While she waited their two buddies on jet skis showed up - older dudes. They ran right across that other fisherman's lines. Then they dumb lady stands on the shoreline YELLING out to the jetskiers about what they were going ot do for the day and where her dear hubby was.
I cussed up one side and down the other about how they were acting, and made sure that trophy wife heard me bitching about how rude it is to bring boats up along a shore where people are already fishing from.
We packed up and moved. I knew that either myself or my roommate were going to get in someone's face over this. I complained at the marina, but there was nothing they said that they could do.
We went to the fishing barge (lame luck there) and I saw Mrs Fancypants on a boat that was docked at the marina She was banging on a huge [censored] Indian drum that sat on the bow of the boat! I about threw a fit.

The one's I can't stand and the Wakeboard boats or Jet skiers, Those mofo's seen to always try to get real close to us wading out in the water. But that isn't the part that really bothers me. It's the part were they keep on going back and forth... Well one Jetskier almost got a hook in his back everytime he passed I tried to hook him and almost got him too then he finially asked if he was too close. "No Jack A** you just almost got a hook in your back cause you're fare away"
