Thought ya'll would like a fishing report. For the first time in a while the gravel pit humps held some schools of Whites (for me anyway). Problem was they had lock jaw except for a vertical presentation. All fish caught in 20 - 25 foot of water. Around 10 AM noticed the birds working around Twin Poles. Went there and the fish were really scattered. They would stay up awhile and then go down. Caught most of mine on a 1/2 oz Cotton Cordell white slab by casting it long and fishing it along the bottom with a pumpimg motion. Slabbing did not work there but the action was good until about 12:00. Left about 12:30 PM and noticed big flock of birds working off Lake Park...no boats around but I had to leave.
Hope this helps and have a great time with the soldiers tomorrow.
Southern by the grace of God.
