Would anybody be interested in a new forum section dedicated to fishing games and fishing software designed for fishermen?
Maybe, if this gets good feedback... they will create one down by equipment??? or elsewhere???
By the way... PS2 Fisherman's Bass Club for $10 at Target... haven't played it yet but looks like a good deal.

I don't think there's enough software for this kind of thread. But I do enjoy these Sega Dreamcast games with the fish controller: Bass Fishing #1 - Quick and easy. Bass Fishing #2 - Better graphics, more realistic. Saltwater Fishing - HUGE game fish!

We might be suprised.
There are a lot of great reviews concerning Pro Fishing Challenge on Xbox. This game is truly amazing. It is so realistic. You can setup actual online tourneys and play with your friends.
Also, there is a whole line of fishing logs software, interactive mapping software, etc.
I think it would be useful.
Yes, Saltwater Sportfishing has some huge fish in it. I'll check out BF #2.
How does the fishing controller work on it?

Fishsim is worth a look, quite an addictive game you can create your own venues with your own photo's of places you've fished, stock the venues with whatever fish you like, change all sorts of variables, play online matches, etc, etc visit their website here http://www.fishsim2.com/

if JP did do a section on this, it should include mapping software, as well as fishing log software .. in my opinion ...

You know, TNT has a point.
If you think about all the GPS stuff, lake maps, fishing log stuff, instructional stuff and all that... there is probably a lot to it
More than just games
I have an XBOX by the way, so someone tell me about the fishing game
