No doubt! It's a Hybrid. A Coral-Cobra Rattle-Headed Copper-Mouth! The most dangerous snake in the world. As I've warned folks before, the only defense is to throw your hands in the air, run around in circles and scream and shout at the top of your lungs!  Then it will crawl away in embarrasment.

Could be a Mud Snake if it has some real red area's on it. Had one living at my house last year and was a really neat looking snake. I guess it moved on because I never saw it this year. I had to do some research to find out what kind it was because I had never seen one before.

This is what you really don't want to see! I seldom see the real deal but I saw two on this trip!! Nasty attitude! Neither of the two took cover like every other snake I saw on the trip. These guys will hold their ground and make you go around.. Gives me the willies just thinking about it!
