Looking at replacing a Humingbird Wide-eye LCD with stronger LCD...I noticed that Bass Pro has the Eagle Fishmark 320 on sale for $139.88...Is there much difference between this one and the 480?

The 480 sells for $189.88.....so I would be saving $50

I primarely would use it to find shad in open water lakes...

Ranger, First I bought the 320. Then I bought the 480.I Put the 480 on the dash and then the 320 on the front. I had a lowrance X-85 first. If you are going to use it on the bow then the 320 is fine. If on the dash then go with the 480...I dont know why( besides pixal count), but their is a real differnce in the 2. If 50.00 buck wont break ya, go for the 480. Both are great units for the money.

Thanks John.... I was with a friend this past weekend on Lake Buchanan. He was using the FishElite 480 with GPS...I was amazed on the detail that unit puts out. We found shad and started jigging..and started catching....I was sold!

I always thought highly of Lowrance, with their higher RMS...I believe the Eagle/Lowrance cheaper units will work just fine....

What is your opinion on the Color LCD's?

Last week at Tawakoni my 320 spotted a large school at 27 feet, I dropped the slab down and watched it decend on the 320...stopped at 27 feet, jigged it twice, then set the hook! Can't wait till I really get this thing figured out. Great product.

I've got 480's on the bow and the dash. I initially had it on the bow and was blown away so I went and got another for the dash! It is a great unit with outstanding detail.

Ranger R, the 320 was a great deal at $160 when I got mine last winter; at $140 it's a steal, IMO. I also use mine to keep my slab at the right depth - it's pretty interesting to watch a fish arch intersect with your slab and feel the strike at the same time.

Yesterday I fished with a friend who has a 480, I have to say I couldn't really tell any difference. Now, I don't see 'em side by side like these other guys who run 'em both. But personally I didn't see $50 worth of difference.

Does anyone know how long that sale will last? Also, can you get the trolling motor adapter at BPS in stock?
