Do you know what percentage of the world tuna canneries have adopted the ring pull opening system?

Stumpjumper, there was a good number of hybrids that made it down river last year to some Texas lakes. This year the lake never flooded, so dont think there will be any make it to Texas, but you could find a good number of them in the irrigation canals as has happened in many years past. Lake Waurika is a great hybrid lake as well, but when it flooded last year and was that way for a few weeks I know they lost a good number of hybrids as well.

No I sure dont know XYZ, but I am sure you could enlighten us. I dont like tuna and could care less. I am sure you and I could jab each other all day on here. You say I missed the point earlier. But Trevor Hardie was looking for a trophy lake for hybrids that was "OUT OF STATE". I threw it out Lake Altus there as an option that not many know of, and you made mention of a Texas lake. As far of the % go in the lake I was letting you know of how the lake fluctuates a great deal for if you had ever looked at making a road trip that might be something to look into. Every year it takes a pounding. You probably know that already, but thought somebody out there that might like to take a trip there might not know. I even put the smiley face and winky fella on there for your benefit.

Those are fine fish, I sure wish I could afford to fish with you. I remember your post a while back and the smile on your son's face and that little kitty cat.

yes I have fished out side texas...go someplace new every year and have catch many larger fish, sir...but I have caught 15 pounders or better on RC without a guide....all I am saying is there is not 100% grantee in fishing...guides are very helpful when you don't know a lake, or you have little or no experience, but they are not the only ones that catch the big fish...that's why it's fishing not catching.Guides are usually good folks that know the lakes well and know some good spots! Thank you lord for guides, best way to start a fishing trip to a new lake or with folks that don't know how to fish or that don't fish often...all I am saying is lady luck does have a say in the matter! And there are trophy fish at RC, my buddies have some on the walls of there homes!!! So they are there, at every cast no...But it sure is fun try'n to get one!

Man 15 pounds of better is beyond good, I think the RC lake record is 17 and change.

If I caught a 15 pound hybrid I would go into a catatonic trance for a year and I would ride home in the back of the boat holding it so everyone could see it on the way home.

Now I need to go get my galoshes before I slip and fall here in TFF.

You might want to put cleats on them.
