I belive these bars of soap you speak of cantain citronell which attract catfish.I belive that only catfish are attracted to the citronella which would make for good jugline and trotline fishing

I am the manufacturer of Redneck's Catfish Bait.

First of all, it does not contain citronella oil.

Secondly, there are many satisfied customers from this forum and many guides that use my bait with great success. All testimonials on my site are real testimonials from real customers.

If you are fishing in the wrong place your not going to catch anything, but don't blame it on the bait.

My family has been making this bait for 65 years and it never fails to put fish on the boat for us.

I have much more photos and testimonials than are on the website, just no time to update it!
