 HAS ANYONE FISHED THIS POND IN GARLAND?

there is a pond on the corner of beltline and garland rd behind the car wash place.... i drive by it alot and was wondering if anyone ever fished here before ??

I lived 5 mins from there growin up... caught a decent bass in there a loooongggg time ago but i dont think they let you fish from the road there anymore... i could be wrong

i noticed a spot next to that pond that looks like a small area where you can park your car....but wasn't sure if there was any fishes in there. never really seen anyone fish there.
looks like a good place to catch fish though..

back in the days as a youngster, I used to work at that car wash (Star Car Wash). The pond has silted in over the years and is pretty shallow now. Lots of snot moss in the pond. Fish population used to be decent but haven't fished it in many years and haven't seen anyone else fish it for a while. May be one of those situations if it is still fishable, anything you throw in may get you bit.

I see that place all the time, it's right next to a small nursing home. I wonder who to ask about trying some fishing there? It does look 'fishy'.
