Wife is going to have a a medical procedure done in Austin Sept 9. Looks like I am gonna have some free time and was wondering where are the best places in Austin to feed the bait monkey.
My excuse will be "I could of hung out in the bars checking out the babes!". Think I will have a pretty good budget with that or just pick myself off the floor again.

Not too far to Cabelas in Buda if you want to fight the I-35 traffic.

Thanks, not gonna have much to do for a couple of days so traffic shouldn't be a problem.

You can hit the Cabela's in Buda or the Sportman's Warehouse in Round Rock. Both of these are just off IH 35 immediately south or north of Austin. Otherwise, you only choices are the numerous Academys' in Austin. There are a few individuals that have tackle at their stores.

Go to Jensen's Tackle. It is just west of Mopac on Parmer Lane. Look on the left. He has some stuff you don't find everywhere.
