Has anyone tried a Platinum card with the Lowrance 332c to see if it can do the 3D maps?

Second question, does the Premium chip have 1' contours of Lake Fork?

Thanks

yes on the 1 foot contours on premium chips. You will need to update the 332 with current software from Lowrance to use the Navionics softare properly. sometimes you have to turn on those units, THEN insert the cards to get them to read. the memory in those 332 aren't the biggest.

only problem is your unit isnt compatible with the platinum chips.

BTW- if you want to see either the platinum or premium chip in real time- you can meet me at the boat ramp on Ray Hubbard either on Tuesday or Thursdays nights. i usually get there at 5pm and leave at dark. will be there tonight-

Thanks for the offer Ronnie, might see you out there one evening. Thanks for the link, too, found a $25 trade in rebate for my old chip while i was on that site. I'm gonna go ahead and buy the Premium chip. That Platinum looks cool but if my graph won't do the 3D then I don't think it would be worth the money.
