TODAY: New Texas Hunting & Fishing Licenses go on SALE today Friday August 15, 2008.
Just got through getting my new fishing license here at Mack's.
Just a reminder. New Texas Hunting & Fishing Licenses go on sale today, and you'll need to have the new ones starting on September the First.

Wife and I went to Academy and got ours yesterday. We also spent a little over $200 there before we left.

I got mine at Walmart Monday. Machine was broke took an hour. Then they didn't have the Federal Duck stamp. Teal season opens Sept 13th so I'll have to go back and get it. Seems to me they should be aware of this and have every thing available. Last couple of years I've averaged 30 minutes getting a license after I've been waited on. Dial up modem or whatever it sucks. Point is you can be first in line and it will still take 30 minutes or better. Next time I'll order a pizza from Domino's while I wait.

I was hoping to get to Academy this week, but there is rain forcast for the next ten days.
Rather than risk not being able to ride the motorcycle, I went online to order today.

There has been some scuttlebutt that Wally World may quit selling licenses. It seems the cost/benefit ratio is none to attractive to them.

i would rather pay $5 extra bucks to order online and take 5 min to do it. print it out, and done.
