Hey man I fished that lake for about 10yrs. I'm sure there would be a few that would love for me to spend my time and money to drive all the way down there to show them where and how to fish Lake Granger for free. Now does that sound like it's something you would do yourself? I did a lot of work putting brush and finding fish in that lake before I moved, then without notice we had to move. From what I understand there has been a lot of people putting BP's in the lake. That sometimes scatters the fish but to me it sounds like there's a whole lot more places to catch fish.If I ya'll want me to come down then PM me and I'll see when I can be there. CrappieMaster

How do you know I don't have a different way to fish on Granger? The pattern is and will always be the same on Granger the only thing that will change it, is high water. As for guides sure there are more but are they all doing the same things? We all do things a little different. There are a lot of spots on that lake to catch fish and until you have fished them all don't discredit what one is trying to tell you. CrappieMaster

Not the fish Taco! Fish Taco's Rock... except when the sprout wings at 40mph and fly out of the boat. It must have been a... Hybrid Flying Fish Taco! The next one I get I am attaching flotation to it!

Sabot, Granger has timber? How deep is the timber? I may make a trip down there sooner than I had planned.

Clyde yes there's timber. The depth is from 3 to 20ft or so and they do hold fish. CrappieMaster

Yea, I'm with you on this one SaltyDawg......Let's sit back and see what happens. Maybe CrappieMaster and Sabot should team up togeather for the tournament on Granger this spring. We all know Sabot can't catch fish and that way CrappieMaster can put his money where his mouth is..... .......By the way, just how many guides are there on Granger anyway? Was CrappieMaster a guide on Granger at one time???

Yes I guided there, as for putting my money were my mouth is, well. Sure some would love for me to give out GPS waypoints and stuff like that and I have before but I won't again. Most of the people fish for fun this is my job. If you had people wanting ya'll do do a bunch of work at your job for free would ya'll do it? So as for putting my money were my mouth is, it's more like putting my mouth where the money is. I just might have to fish the tourney in the spring I may not win but I will catch fish. Thanks SaltyDawg88 sorry they don't float but those are good ideas to do to the next one. In the future there will be some that may float. No Sabot I don't want the Taco back! I'm, not mad about anything it's not easy to be a guide everyone seems to want something for free, especially in the fishing world. GoodLuck CrappieMaster

Thats me! I cant catch a fish in a barrel of fish that are dieing of hunger... But I do enjoy the company of a fine cigar and a cold beverage. Oh yea... i enjoy the company of my partner too. I think it's about time dust off the Lund and get out to the lake. I feel my standards of catching is fading! (That is why I bought the electronics... gives me an out to the catching issue) Back on topic... Nice website Salty! Looks like many of the granger fishermen are there lurking in the shadows.

OK guys, I didn't post this website to have a pissing contest (i.e. Sabot/Crappiemaster). Wanted to get the word out that we as a group are trying to do some good things on the lake. We have had a very successful tournament and a top notch take a soldier fishing event this past year in which neither of you participated. If you all want to bitch on my post than put up or shut up. Alot of time and energy has been spent on the events mentioned. We as a group are planning on other events. You all are welcome to assist and attend but don't slam each other on this post or on our website until you are ready to commit some time and energy to help. PO'D @ you all. If you all want to bitch then go to the OT on this forum.
