Haven't been there in a long time.

Politicians, baseball players, high-powered corporate CEO's they all seem to eventually let us down. Nature, however, does not. Look to her for inspiration and you will learn the secrets to living a good life. The most Important lesson it would seem is to make sure you spend as much time fishing as anything else.

I have not been to the lake in about 3 weeks but when I was there the sand bass were in deeper water close to the dam. Lots and lots of bait fish. If you are looking for crappie talked to a couple of folks fish seemed to be moving to deeper water. The water temp was about 85 to 87 degrees. You might try brush piles off of Baitshack Point. If you are looking for green trash fish or catfish I am not any help there.

Bait Shack point is on the south side of the lake there is a large rock house built there now. It has a concrete boat ramp on the west side of the lot and several poles in the water where a boat dock use to be. I call it bait shack point because year's ago there was a minnow stand, boat ramp, store there called Shirely's bait shack. Do not know what the offical name is just go by the nick name. Hope the fishing was good for you. Hope to be out that way soon. If you see a 18ft. Kenner center console swing by and say hi. Has a TFF sticker on the windshield.
