Hello! I am new to the fishing in this area. I want to go out to galveston bay and do some bottom fishing with the wife and kids. I live in Dickinson. Can someone point me in a nice easy direction with no sand bars to worry about and where i might actually catch some fish. Any help is appreciated.

East Bay or the ship channel. There is a limited amount to hit out there. Fish reefs or ship channel spoil. Usually best early with a movign tide. Look for slicks and birds. Live bait will definitely help with possible chance of success.
