With the weather getting cooler (mid 80s) I went out for a few hours to Eagle Mountain. I trawled briefly for sand bass south of the island and in front of the dam but all was barren. Noticing the depth of the water, I went back to a single rip-rap spot that I like lots and fished for bass with a plastic worm. Personally I like the "Renegade" series ... I think that might be exclusive to wall mart. I fish the small 4" pumpkin seeds. I caught 3 nice sized bass in under an hour with constant action on the line. All of this while anchored and fishing one single spot. Ive had great success there in years past about this time of year so it looks like it continues to produce.

Rain came in and I had work to catch up on ... so headed home.

Good job on the LMB. Your were probably on the way in when I called with an update. It was after the rain.
