Went to the lake this morning at about 6:00 am. to 1:00 P.M. started on the North tree line caught about 30 kept about 16 Mr.Maurice had some good action on his jigs. In all I caught one 1 3/4lb one 2.2 caught oneclose to 2 1/2 boy what a monster the big fish are on the bite with the north wind blowing. I may go back tomorrow.

Sac, I've got my son home this weekend and was thinking about taken him out to BB to crappie fish. Are you launching at Dutch Branch Marina or the South side and were you using jig or jig and minnows. I have not fished BB and about 3 months. I've heard peole talk about the North "Tree Line" is this between Rockey Creeek and Richardsons Slew. Any help would be appreicated.

Fished BB today with wife and son. Had a good time but the fishing was slow. 1 crappie, several yellow bass and a few sandies. I fished the trees in the front of Richardson slew and South along the east bank. I fished about 60 different trees with little luck. IF you try to launch at Dutch Branch Marina you can't, but they have the key to the beach area which has a ramp that is usable. It cost $8.00 and they will take you over there and unlock the gate. You have to call them when you want to leave and they will come back over there and unlock the gate.
