It was about a 2 1/2 hour drive when I went, but it was snowing hard. I'd bet you can make it in a about an hour though. Seems like it was about 60 miles south of the twin cities.

I receivew catalogs from Cabelas quite often and they have issues that are specific to Bass and Panfish. Plenty of lures, rods, reels and terminal for what our needs are here in Texas. I can't wait for the store to open. It's quite a drive for me, but I'm willing to spend the time and money to check it out.

BTW, when it is going to open? As a matter of fact, yes you can. I am the facilities Manager, and I can fix you right up. The store opens May 28.

About three years ago I was on vacation in Colorado. We got close to the Wyoming line and decided to go so we could say we'd been. We ended up eating lunch at a Chili's. While we were looking at a map I noticed we weren't far from Nebraska. When the waitress came back by I asked her if there was anything worth seeing in Ne. She said, "not really, I never go there unless I'm going to Cabela's". My ears perked up, my wife rolled her eyes, the waitress got a BIG tip and off we went to their Home Store in Sydney. Cool place, no worries, can't wait!

The business is based in western Nebraska. I heard all they were going to carry was football tapes from the '90s, second grade readers, and chastity belts to keep their women safe from the Colorado recruiting teams.
