fished 8-8-8 caught a 18" around 8am on bone zara puppy then 1 small schooly on small grub, other boat catching them like crazy any ideas?

Those schoolies can be tricky, I usually stick w/ a small clear topwater or a fluke burned as fast as you can across the top. I usually dont mess w/ the schoolies unless they are extremely "On". I went out Sunday for a couple of hours in morning and caught some good ones on a Spro Frog up super shallow w/ one of them being an over. Caught a total of eight. You cant get shallow enough on that lake.
