Got a little rain in Cove. Did see a rise in Lake Belton which is a good sign. yep thats good. the lake was droping fast we had to move one of our trotlines out cause when we set it one end was on a tree on the bank in about 2' of water 2 weekends ago it was about 1' from the water.
Justin 63lb, 2 58lb, several 40's, 38lb, and several 20lb yellas.

It poured out at the leon side of the lake where i live at in Moffat. We planned on going out at 2:30 but the rain wasn't going to give us a chance till about 5. Found alot of whites hitting the top of the water about 30 to 40 mins before dark Used an assortment of lure including spoons, rattle traps and big storm swim baits. Boated 5 whites and one undersized hybrid on the storm swim bait. Going to head to Buchanan thsi friday to fish with an old friend that used to be a stripper guide so maybe we can hang into some big fish out that way. Will let you guys know what happens

Went up the Leon yesterday and its not running like it was . Sure was pretty up there but sure hit a lot stumps. Glad I got an ole boat and a jackplate
