You know, its only sixty miles more to the Blue River where there is some drop dead scenery as well as wading in a beautiful little river with smallies, spots and all kinds of fly-killing bream. One weight heaven! Just something to consider next time you pack up and head out. map to

Yes, gas is a consideration, no doubt about it. I am no expert but I'd love to go wading and catching sometime. Gray and I had a blast last time up there. Found a place with sandy bottom and no dropoff holes. We worked our way up the river catching all kinds of bass and bream. Then Gray tied into this:

Hah! I look forward to the Blue. I may even get up there for trout this year. But the warm water is fantastic too.

I thought about maybe getting up early this morning but it didnt happen. BUMMER!! Its been overcast all day...
John 5:24 Very truly I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
1Peter 3:18 For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit.

Hey Robin, I know an old off duty cop that can be your body guard (for a small fee).

There are smallies all throughout the river. Also the spotted or kentucky bass and some largemouth. I believe that most of the sunfishes are represented, it's an old river system.

Fished in the rain yesterday after work, that was wonderful! Cool in all the senses of the word that are important. Stood under a big old cottonwood and cast my popper/dropper, landed bluegills. until the crack of lightning. You don't need to tell me twice, standing under a big tree and holding a piece of graphite don't mix well with high voltage static electricity.
Looking forward to my next outing. What a nice morning it is!
