Good Morning/Afternoon Belton Bunch! This is the longest I've slept in a long time. Dang lights kept me up too! grin

Terry, we launched at Rogers around 6pm went and got bait up the creek, Kristy dropped me off and I drove the truck to TLP. Sorry we missed you.

Not a problem, John. We thought about moving south a few times, but were catching fish from time to time, so we hated to move.. not knowing what the wind was doing at TLP.

If I can get off work on time one day this week, I will stop by for a visit.

I think it is pretty cool that Capt Kristy has a valet!!!!

Decker aka Walter E Long is a powerplant lake in east austin that has been stocked with Hybrids for several years. It has been good during the winter and spring, but it was tough fish'n out there yesterday. The water temp. was 98 degrees!!
Was you guys on Belton this morning?

Nope, wanted to get out there Sunday, but not gonna make it then either! May be a week or 2 before I'm out there again.

I get to belton on the 20th to attend UMHB and have no clue what hybrid fishing is all about. I hear they're a worthy adversary though.

Get in touch with me when you get here, I'll help you out! Are you from the Big Isle?

F4F, our second place fish in the haleiwa tourney a couple weeks ago, 119lbs. The second pic is from the ahi fever tourney 706lbs and didn't even make the money!! Only the top three marlin got paid and this fish was i think 5th.

Thats ok when we got home I bet I woke up the whole neighborhood here. I was out there taking that pic and heard something splash in my fountain on the porch and figured it was a frog so I was gonna take a pic of him. He jumped out and when I turned to follow him with the camera something cold and slimy jumped on my foot from the pond and I screamed bloody murder, lol. It was another huge frog but I thought it was a snake or something. Every dog in the neighborhood starting howling and barking, lol. That must have been one earpiercing shriek I let out, lol. Had a good time fishing last night and we caught a bunch that were hugging the bottom til the wind got up and blew our anchor loose. Even caught a crappie but I lost it pulling it over the side. I sure miss our flotillas we used to have at night with Larry, Rick and Scott. I miss all you guys. It was good to see John Z71 and family and fish nearby. I kept hearing the zebco go off across the water so I knew every time his son caught a fish, lol.

Team SS made it out this morning. Fished till 3:00 this afternoon.

Went up the creek and caught 63 shad. Nothing at the flats and GSC.

Went to the main lake, Area ? grin. Caught 8 nice hybrids, 20 Plus LM and many lg whts. Main lake was rockin and rolling. woot Had it to our selves most of the day. We always do our best when the wind is 20+.

Beautiful fish No_surf?_Go_Fishing! clap

Glad the Fools made it out and caught fish. dance2
